About Us
Heather
Hoesly is a native of New Glarus and a graduate of Iowa State
University. She is currently the Director of Promotions and
Advertising at Purdue
University in
West Lafayette. She is in charge of all marketing programs for all
18 sports, and personally oversees football, mens basketball, and
track & field for the Boilermakers.
Daniel
Blewett has lived all over the United States, but proudly calls
himself a Lafayette “townie”. He is a graduate of
Purdue University and The American University in Washington, D.C.
He currently is the Director of Accounting and Administration at
ArborAmerica,
a
black walnut timber farm with ties to Spain.
Heather
and Dan met in September of 2009, and despite a disastrous 2nd
date
involving a poorly-researched movie choice (Inglorious Bastards),
Heather agreed to a 3rd
date,
and it has been smooth sailing since then. They live in Lafayette,
IN with Dan's two cats, Abbie & Gabbie, and Heather's
dachshund, Oscar.
Matron of Honor
Andrea
Johnson and Heather met at Iowa State University and became fast
friends and roommates for 4 years. Andrea lives in Phoenix, AZ
with her husband Sami, and is a Project Lead at General Dynamics
C4 Systems.
Best Man
William
Davis III is a native of Lafayette and met Dan soon after he
relocated back in 2003. He is studying OLS at Purdue University,
and also is a specialist at the ITaP computing center at Purdue.
Bill lives in Lafayette with his lovely wife, Sarah, and their
small herd of housepets. Bill excels at computing and general
nerdery, which explains why he and Dan are so close.
Ring
Security Consultant
Dan's nephew Ryan is 8.5 and plays chess, reads Sun Tzu, and loves to make movies. He's been a Ring Bearer twice before, and takes his Ring Bearer responsibilities very seriously.
His “Flat Ryan” project has taken his flat avatar across the globe, including Ireland, Las Vegas, and exciting Mackey Arena at Purdue University!
Flower Distribution Specialist
Dan's niece Morgan is almost 6 and loves dogs, animals, dressing fancy, and being nice. She is an experienced Flower Girl, having performed the duty in two other weddings. Expect nothing but professionalism and cuteness from this Flower Girl.
